Syntax

Public Function TimeSeriesmovingAverage(chart_ID As Long, applyTo As ENUM_APPLIED_PRICE,period As Integer) As String

A Time Series Moving Average is similar to a Simple Moving Average, except that values are derived from linear regression forecast
values instead of raw values.

A Moving Average is most often used to average values for a smoother representation of the underlying price or indicator.

Parameters

Key Description 
chart_ID Chart identifier, 0 is the current chart ,value of type Long
applyTo Applied Integer, value of type  ENUM_APPLIED_PRICE.
period The calculation period, on which the indicator will be calculated, value of type Integer

Return value

Returns the handles of a technical indicator, in case of failure returns an empty string.

Sample

Public Sub main()

AlertMessage (TimeSeriesmovingAverage(0,Price_close,20)) 'Draws the indicator on chart and shows an AlertMessage with the indicator name.
